WebMinds releases a new version of its popular encryption software, SensiGuard. The new version of the program introduces Personal Encryption – a feature that lets people share encrypted files and folders with other SensiGuard users.
The new version of SensiGuard has a brand new feature called Personal Encryption that allows users to send encrypted files without having to worry that they may be intercepted and compromised. When SensiGuard is installed, the user is prompted to create two keys – a Private Key and a Public Key. The Private Key is kept safe locked by a password and the Public Key can be sent to other users, so that they can open encrypted files that are shared with them. The Personal Encryption feature offers two-layer protection, as two keys are needed to send an encrypted file – the sender’s Public Key and the recipient’s key. This ensures that only the recipient can open the file.
In addition to the Personal Encryption feature the new SensiGuard makes changing an existing password or recovering a lost password easier than ever before without making the recovery process less secure. Other improvements include an optimized encryption algorithm for better speed and bug fixes.
SensiGuard comes with a free trial and the full version costs $39.00. The program is compatible with Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7, 32-bit and 64-bit versions are supported.
